About / Kinn
Designer by craft. Engineer by training.
I'm Aung Min Soe, but most people call me Kinn. I'm a Lead Product Designer in Bangkok with 8+ years of shaping fintech, SaaS and AI products across Southeast Asia.
I studied Computer Science, and it changed how I design. I don't stop at the mockup. I build the design system in code, set up Claude Code with Figma MCP, and ship screens engineers can use on day one. I'm happiest at 0→1, when a product is still a blank canvas.

Experience
Most of my career has been spent as the designer who joins early and stays to scale the product.
What I believe
Four rules that show up in every product I touch.
- Grayscale first
Color only when it means something: action, status, AI.
- Design lives in code
If it isn't in the build, it isn't done.
- One source of truth
Tokens, components and rules shared by people and AI.
- Start from zero
The first screen becomes the foundation for every screen after it.
Things I build for fun
Side products help me test ideas fast, and most of them start from a problem I have myself.
